text mining Sci-Fi in the HathiTrust Digital Library

For ADHO 2023 in Graz, I collaborated with researchers from Temple University, led by Alex Wermer Colan, to build models comparing Temple U’s New Wave Sci-Fi corpus with other curated corpora within the library. We plan future publications from this work, contextualizing sci-fi New Wave’s climate commitements within the larger sci-fi genre.
