Thinking Critically about Code

In Spring and Fall 2025, I collaborated with three other Emory PhD students to put on a cross-university, interdiscplinary workshop series around the ethical concerns in the use of technology for research. We organized workshops around the following themes: Curating Ethical Datasets, Representing the Past, and Predicting the Future. In the Fall, we invited Dr. Ari Schlesinger to give a keynote talk at Emory.
